I am happy to share with y'all some great moments from She Media: Whole Health Life SXSW (South by Southwest). She media returned to Austin, Texas and coordinated amazing panel speakers to address the science of women's health and longevity. And so, I was very excited to be back in Austin for two reasons, one to be part of the experience with She Media and two to spend some quality time with my sister (which I never get to do, since I am in San Diego).
She Media definitely brought their A game to Austin to coordinate some amazing panel speakers with professionals, innovators, and change makers. Panel topics ranged from: physical health, nutrition, sexual health, mental health, holistic health, parenting, science, and much more. Every session was packed with valuable insight, awareness, and advocacy. Most of all supporting women's health initiatives (which you all know I am passionate about).
As a collective it's important to come together to know what is shaping the future of women's health and partake on that journey along with others to help make improve health care services for all women in the community, clinics, hospitals, primary doctors, and more. One person can't make the change alone, so it takes a village to drive the mission. Together the change is possible!

While everyone was busy buying candy and flowers for Valentine's Day, I was ready for a small weekend gateway with my family to Sedona, Arizona. The Sedona location has been on my bucket list since I was a teenage girl, but I never really knew when I would get the opportunity to visit. Until most recently in the month of February, I decided I needed to plan more time off work in 2026.
I realized now that I am one year wiser and a single mother. I can't buy back time, so I needed to value the 100 hours of saved PTO that I have and be okay with taking time of work to prevent burn out, center my nervous system, distress, and spend quality time with my son. Balancing life is not easy, but like anyone else I deserve much needed time off to be present in life.
So, I packed our bags and headed to Sedona, Arizona. Sedona offers a unique blend of natural red rock formations trails that are endless possibilities for hiking explorations. I wanted to go off the rail and wander deeper, but I had to keep smaller trails in mind for my little one and my senior parents, so I look forward to returning someday to explore the forest, rivers, and canyons on a deeper level.
Benefits of Sedona during February:
Desert Environment
Sunshine and Enjoyable weather
Escape from City Life
Privacy and Peace
Fresh Air and Natural Rock Energy
During this trip I found a hike trail known as the Sugarloaf loop trail that is easy for families, especially if you have little ones. To prepare for this hike with my family, I packed essentials in my RED ROVR backpack such as water, snacks, small first aid kit, wallet, phone, and keys. We all enjoyed downtime with a beautiful scenery, especially my son as he got to walk alongside his grandpa.
In the month of February, there is no greater feeling than sharing love, but keep in mind there are many people who recently ended a situationship, relationship, or marriage. For this exact reason, SELF LOVE is an important chapter to pause and think about all the ways we can show up for ourselves.
So, what is Self-Love?
Well for starters, Self-love can have many different meanings to individuals, but some may define it as a deep psychological concept of self-worth. I believe the true intention behind self-love revolves around self-compassion. Where one truly shows up for themselves when no one else is around and discovers supporting their own needs and wants while honoring their limitations. It's also about exploring emotions in different areas of life to create awareness and find different coping mechanism activities.
Below are a couple tips to practice Self-Love:
1. Daily Gratitude: Appreciate what you already have. Despite the bad things that might be happening, gratitude can shift your focus by minimizing negative thoughts.
2. Let go of toxic people: if you have family, friends or peers who are constantly negative and bringing you down it's okay to set limitations and create healthy boundaries, so you can focus on quality energy exchange.
3. Forgive yourself for wanting to please everyone: It's not your responsibility, instead focus on filling that self-love energy to replenish your needs and wants.
4. Manage Stress: treat yourself with kindness and understanding. Trying to meet everyone's expectations at work, home and family can feel overwhelming. Take a step to slow things down and do mini coping exercises to help you get through the day.
5. Embrace your strengths: We all have strengths tied to hidden talents such as creators, artist, cooking, and more. Identify what is your hidden talent as it will improve your confidence.
Remember Self Love is always about being compassionate to yourself in life, health, and relationships. Don't know where to start, below is a self-paced workbook that can help start that journey.
This year's flu virus really got children and adults really sick to the point that symptoms are lasting more than 2 to 3 weeks. Although, we are familiar with the main flu symptoms such as sneezing, dry cough, chills, and body aches, other symptoms on the horizon were extreme fatigue, nausea, headaches, and fevers. It almost sounds like this flu virus decided to merge with Covid which made the symptoms last weeks versus days. At least that how it felt for some people including myself!
Like most parents, my son experienced a dry cough that later merge into active flu symptoms. He experienced body aches with rising body temperatures. One of the most important things to observe in a child is to prevent high peaking fevers that can lead to further health complications. So, as a parent it is very important to have a thermometer device at home to check for body temperature updates. If your child gets a fever between 100°F to 104°F call the child's primary care doctor and also request to speak to a nurse to discuss health updates.
According to Medlifeguide, Common Flu Symptoms in 2026:
How Flu Spreads
Primary Transmission Routes
Respiratory droplets from coughing or sneezing
close person to person contact
Contact with contaminated surfaces followed by mucosal exposure
Incubation Period is typically 1 to 4 days and most individual become symptomatic withing 48hrs.
As a mother there were several things I had to do for my son during his illness: change him to cool clothing only, prevent using heavy blankets, and change the room temperature. Other items to have ready were homemade chicken and lentil soup, clear liquids to prevent dehydration, light snacks, maty's chest rub, raw honey, zarbees children cough syrup (made with ingredients such as honey, elderberry, and ivy leaf). During a child's illness phase, it is most likely the parent will also get sick, so be ready to have necessary items to help treat symptoms and rest. (Which I know as a parent is almost nearly impossible, but if your child takes a nap, so should you.)
As my son's fever and body aches got better, one persistent symptom that lingered was his cough that lasted at least 2-3 weeks which was then was followed up by a pediatrician visit to check if his lungs were okay and make sure there were no other underlying issues going on.
Luckily my son and I recovered and were able to get back to our regular schedules. Below I have shared some helpful items to keep around your home, but you can always research for alternative products that might be more suitable to your needs. sd
1. Have a thermometer at home and one that I really like is the Kinsa Quick Care. This thermometer is a personalized one based on age, fever and symptoms. Plus, I like that it connects and records data into the phone app to check illness timelines
4. Rest, Sleep, and Stay Indoors. Prevent taking your little ones outdoors or to indoor playgrounds. It's best to recover then relapsing and help prevent spreading germs.
Once you both heal and feel better get back to your regular schedule. Your body and mind will thank you for taking time to rest, heal, and recover.
Hola Chicas and Happy New Year! I am making a slow comeback, so I would like to start off the new year by sharing some helpful information about how to achieve healthy coparenting. Since, I found myself navigating this area of my life for the past three years and I know there are many women passing through this phase in their life, so I wanted to share something that was valuable to me.
So here it goes, short, simply, and informative.
Healthy coparenting is achievable in every person's life as long as the parent has healed their mental, emotional, and physical pain. The most common emotional pain to heal from is the end of a relationship and/or marriage along with the family unit that did not come into fruition. When that part is healed along with other areas in your life, then the parent can begin to slowly coexist in harmony to raise a child in two loving environments.
This process can take time for every individual as the timeline and situations can vary, but respectful communication among two parents is a key factor to success. Using an empathetic and professional tone will help the parents understand schedules and make decisions with education, healthcare, discipline, extracurricular activities, birthdays, holidays and more.
Below I share 10 tips that have helped me in the process
Every shared tip above had a journey of self-discovery with what no longer is and what was going to shape the present. So, it's vital that every single mother acknowledges each stage.
Remember, healthy coparenting takes time, but when you work in unison and prioritize the child's needs and wellbeing; then parents can create a nurturing environment that will benefit the development of the child. Below are some helpful tools and resources to help navigate this next chapter of your life as well as if it becomes difficult to achieve a mutual ground.
Buddha once said, " Your body is precious. It is our vehicle for awakening. Treat it with care."
This past few months I have been able to continue to connect with individuals who are not physically active, even when asked the simple question, Do you stretch? The answer always seem to be, I am too busy? It's no wonder that many people don't include some form of physical activity into their daily routine, but I also believe many individual are in pre-contemplation stages of changes because of habits in their daily routine and/or environment.
Stretching is a stress relieving activity, you feel it immediately in your muscles, ligaments, and joints. It's an activity that can help reduce headaches, assist in posture, and help reduce body ache and pain. Stretching allows for the body to be flexible to prevent future pain. So of course we don't feel much pain in our Teens and early 20's if you are healthy, but once you reach 30's 40's, and 50's your body naturally goes through changes because of age and health. So, its good timing to evaluate if you can benefit from daily stretch exercise routines.
Start planning to include stretching during am or pm for about 10 minutes and you can increase time as you go. If you have an injury or illness that prohibits this daily practice check in with your provider to see what your limits are before beginning. If your healthy and good to go think about what stretch exercises you may wan to include.
The following are different stretch exercises :
Back stretch
Arm Stretch (Tricep)
Hamstring Stretch
Knee to Chest Stretch
These are just a few examples you can find on the internet, but there are many more you can find. If you do include stretching, listen to your body. If something hurts STOP! because stretching can be uncomfortable, but it should never be painful. If there is persistent pain, you might want to get evaluated in case there is an underlying condition. I hope you get inspire and motivate to keep your body healthy and flexible.
Whether you are getting ready to have a chill Sunday at your home or go out in the community with family and friends. I want you to keep one thing in mind and ask yourself, when the last time you prioritize gentle movement for your body? I am referring to exercise such as: yoga, weightlifting, Pilates, walking, running, stretching or dancing proactively. The reason we should all be thinking about this is because our bodies crave proactive movement.
If you're laughing and responded Never...It's time to start thinking about why you should and the benefits. As women we go through many health transitions with our mind, body, and soul and this means energy has to flow to find harmony. Movement helps increase the amount of oxygen and nutrients to the body which means increasing levels of good energy. And seriously, who doesn't want good energy?!
Here are a couple benefits of Daily Movement:
Mood
Energy
Weight Management
Good Sleep
Self-Confidence
Less Stagnation and friction in the muscles and bones
Overall Good Health
To get some motivation going find a good space in your home or outdoors to set up an exercise corner. I found a particular area in my bedroom corner next to a mirror and plant where I've added a small free weight bracket, so I can easily engage in a 30-minute workout at home.
Remember, you don't have to spend a couple hundred dollars if you already have existing equipment. Grab what you already have and create a wellness corner or simply grab your walking or running shoes and head outdoors. Being outdoors is natural medicine, so walk or run around your neighborhood, community park, or hike trails. Motivation starts with actionable steps, so what step will you take?
Happy Hump Day Mujeres! I am here at home recovering from a bad cold after catching my son's daycare cuddies! Yup, my little nugget has started daycare and unfortunately he was slammed with a really bad cold and cough the first week that then turn into a mild fever with an ear infection. He just couldn't catch a break and since I had to take care of him of course I was bound to catch the cuddies which has prolonged recovery time
To say the least, I am use to recovering in 2-3 days top, but this cold was definitely a brutal one for my son and I. So, it got me thinking how to share a couple tips and pointers to help other moms and woman recover from a really bad cold.
1. Recover: If you are a working mom (like myself) it's important to not push your body. You have to take some days of work to help Rest and Recover. I know this can be overwhelming as we watch our accruals deplete because you also want to take vacation time, but if your company has sick time (use it) if not use your PTO and then ESI can kick in. I wanted to preserve my hours as much as possible because I also need vacation time while also thinking about my son's future doctor's appointment and/or if he gets sick again. (It's not easy to watch your hard couple hours deplete so quickly, but your health does come first)
2. Hydration: Your body is going to need to stay hydrated during your sick days because you will feel your body and joints ache. Staying hydrated can help the body expel the funky stuff out, but also keep your immune and organ system going. Trust me you do not want to experience dehydration because then your muscles will start cramping and twitching. This is also a good time to check your water and electrolyte supply. If your low, make a run to the store, so you have easy access at home to fill up your water bottle and zippy cups for you little ones.
5. Medication: If your cold symptoms get worse and linger with new symptoms such as sinus infection, cough with trouble breathing, fever, and/or ear infection don't hesitate to make an appointment with your primary doctor or call the nurses line to evaluate your symptoms. Once you place the call the RN will inform you which express clinic is closest to you for a same day evaluation because you might needs medication such as antibiotics to help treat symptoms. Since, I took care of my son during his really bad sick days, I ended up catching an ear infection plus cellulitis of the eye due to the heavy sinus congestion. And was fortunate enough to go to the Pediatric and Adult Clinic to be evaluated and get a prescription for both of us. The cold can be cruel because it can start with one symptom and build up from there.
6. Nourishment: During your sick days you won't have much of an appetite, but it's important to eat because your body needs the nutrients for recovery. This is the time to focus on hot foods such as soups, broth, tea, and water intake. You might now have the energy to cook, but when your a mom, you find yourself cooking to help the little ones get better, plus home cooked meals will help with your recovery time. Remember eating is a major form of self care during sick days.
7. Stretch/Breathwork: Stretching is vital to help keep body flexible because you notice when your ill you go into fetal position when sleeping and/or when sitting your slouching keeping muscles and ligaments shorten and cramped causing body to ache more. It's important to include a morning stretch or night time stretch to help body reduce stress and anxiety when ill. Breathwork is also helpful to help keep pulmonary diaphragm active and increase oxygen flow throughout the body to help increase relaxation and reduce stagnation. A combination of both will help the body expel the bad energy that comes with illness.
8. Sleep: Feeling well rested during sick day is Vital! But it can be hard if your taking care of a little one who is also sick. Something I found helpful is to sleep when they sleep because you won't get that window back. So even though it was hard the first day, the second day become easier to take a nap when he has napping, but it's also helpful to go to bed early. Don't stay past 10pm scrolling through your phone and try to catch a Netflix episode because although it's tempting you will feel more restless the next day if the body is not resting. Sleeping will reduce your stress when feeling ill, improve energy, and help recover. Since being in my new place, I have decided to remove all electronics away from the bedroom. Sleep is important because without melatonin, you won't have sufficient rest which will make it harder to recover when feeling ill.
Can you believe we are in the month of March already and heading into Spring with a couple of wellness goals in mind. I know at least for me, I have been integrating stretching into my night routine, so my body can distress, relax, but most of all improve my flexibility.

So, here I am exploring life as a Single Mother while co-parenting and gently making decisions to be proactive again as I have so much to share in the wellness space from a new perspective. l look forward to re-engaging with my readers and followers as I continue to work on a lot of personal, professional and creative goals. I look forward to re-engaging with the platform I've created to continue connecting women about their wellness journey because I know it has a purpose.
I want to thank my supporters for hanging in there as my blog and podcast went dormant. And I look forward to re-connecting and returning back with new health and wellness initiatives. Stay tuned for 2024 amigas.
And just like that we are close to the month February ending, but before we say goodbye. Let's talk Cardiovascular Health with Gabriela John. Gabriela is currently working for a non-profit as Health Educator for the WISEWOMAN program (well integrated screening and evaluation for women across the nation). Gabriela previously worked in Mexico as Public Health Clinical Dietitian and had her own successful private practice for over 10 years. She graduated from the Universidad Autonoma and holds a Master's in Public Health with a concentration in Health Promotion.
We are very fortunate to have Gabriela as part of the WISEWOMAN team to help navigate women to take care of their heart health and understand and reduce their risk for heart disease and stroke by providing services to promote lasting heart healthy lifestyles. Tune into this week's episode as Gabriela and I have a talk about why women should be taking care of their Corazones!
Did you know that heart disease is the leading cause of death for Latinos in the United States. Health problems that increase the risk of heart disease are common in Latino communities, including being overweight and having high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes. And to top it off, people with poor cardiovascular health are also at increase risk of severe illness from COVID-19.
Hispanic/Latino women ages 20 and older in the United States: 78% are overweights, 35% have high blood pressure, 34% have high cholesterol, and 12% have been diagnosed with diabetes. And even though we have this demographics and information, I still see many Latina women live a sedentary lifestyle and not being cooperative or complaint with making lifestyle changes, checking their blood pressure at home nor taking medication. We have to do better, so let's start here by informing yourself how you can start taking action.
Here are a couple healthy lifestyle choices to keep in mind:
1. Move each day (Aim for at least 2.5 hours of physical activity each week- that's just 30 minute a day, 5 days a week. In addition, do muscle strengthening exercises 2 days a week.)
2. Follow a heart-healthy eating plan (having good nutrition meals can help lower blood pressure and improve cholesterol levels. If you feel a little lost about where to start find out if there is a Nutritionist, Health Educator, Dietitian that can help you out)
3. Manage your stress!!!!!! (Take time for SELF CARE)
4. Get good quality of sleep ( Try not to cut yourself short, you will feel it, try to practice a night routine)
5. QUIT smoking (Tobacco and Nicotine are contributing factors to heart disease. Find out if there are Smoking Cessation services in your area)
And three additional step for individuals with diagnoses of high blood pressure
6. Check your blood pressure at home
7. Take prescribed medication as directed,
(if your unclear about medication ask provider if they have medication
adherence counseling or class services available)
8. Report progress with your primary care provider
These small efforts can make a big difference to keeping your heart healthy!
I hope this educational blog post raises your awareness of how to prevent heart disease.

And just like that, we are back in January and it's time to bring into light Cervical Cancer Awareness Month.
"Each year in the United States, about 13,000 new cases of cervical cancer are diagnosed and about 4,000 women die of this cancer. Hispanic women have the highest rates of developing cervical cancer, and Black women have the highest rates of dying from cervical cancer (Division of Cancer Prevention and Control, Centers of Disease Control and Prevention.)
Just reading this statistic makes me upset all together and raise many questions of course, but I want to focus in sharing the Inside Knowledge about Gynecologic Cancer Campaign with you ladies because I want to make sure you know about the five main types of gynecologic cancer: cervical, ovarian, uterine, vaginal, and vulvar.
We have all heard the word "Cancer", but are you conciously aware about gynecological cancer? When I ask this question in general to women, a majority of them don't know about symptoms or the different types of cancer that can exist in our wombs. We need to change this narrative, so let me start by sharing some educational information, resources, and videos.
Gynecological cancer is any cancer that starts in woman's reproductive organs. While gynecologic cancer are often discussed as a group, each is unique and has different signs, symptoms, risk factors, and prevention strategies. Cancer is always named for the part of the body where it starts, even if it spreads to other body parts later.
Cervical Cancer is located in the Cervix. Sign and Symptoms: early on cervical cancer, may not have signs or symptoms. advance cervical cancer may cause bleeding or discharge from the vagina that is not normal for you. Remember there could be other underlying issues that may not be related to cancer, so it's recommended to see your doctor.
Ovarian Cancer: is located in the Ovariesor in related areas of the fallopian tubes and the peritoneum. Signs and Symptoms: vaginal bleeding or discharge that is not normal for you. Pain or pressure in the pelvic area. Abdominal or back pain. Bloating. Feeling full to quickly or difficulty eating. A change in your bathroom habits. Remember there could be other underlying issues that may not be related to cancer, so it's recommended to see your doctor.
Uterine Cancer: the most common type of uterine cancer is also called endometrial cancer because it forms in the lining of your uterus, called the endometrium. Signs and Symptoms: may cause vaginal discharge or bleeding that is not normal for you. Bleeding may be abnormal because of how heavy it is or when it happens, such as after you have gone through menopause and between periods. Bleeding is never normal after your periods stop. Uterine cancer may also cause other symptoms, such as pain or pressure in your pelvis. Remember there could be other underlying issues that may not be related to cancer, so it's recommended to see your doctor (cdc, gynecologic cancer).
Vaginal and Vulvar Cancer: when cancer starts in the vagina, it is called vaginal cancer. The vagina, also called birth canal, is the hollow, tube-like channel between the bottom of the uterus and the outside of the body. When cancer forms in the vulva, it is vulvar cancer. The vulva is the outer part of the female genital organs. It has two folds of skin called the labia. Vulvar cancer most often occurs on the inner edges of the labia. Vaginal Cancer Signs and Symptoms: may cause vaginal discharge or bleeding that is not normal for you. Bleeding may be abnormal because of how heavy it is or when it happens, such as after you have gone through menopause and between periods. Change in bathroom habits. Pain in your pelvic the area below your stomachh and in between your hip bones, especially when you pass urine or have sex. Vulvar Cancer Signs and Symptoms: Itching, burning, bleeding on the vulva that does not go away, changes in the colore of the skin of the vulva, so that it look redder or whiter than is normal for you, skin changes in the vulva, including what looks like a rash or warts, Sore, lumps, or ulcers on the vulva that do not go away. Pain in your pelvis, especially when you urinate or have sex. Remember there could be other underlying issues that may not be related to cancer, so it's recommended to see your doctor.
Wow! that is a lot of information right and I am just sharing a minor portion. Okay, let's take a break and watch an educational video.
The Inside Knowledge Campaign came more into light with Johanna's Law who died of ovarian cancer in 2000. Her story made an impact on women's health initiatives, so it was important for me to start the new year with sharing a little information about the five types of gynecological cancer because as women we are often busy taking care of everyone else that we often dismiss symptoms. So it's time to change that narrative and follow up with medical and/or holistic providers to get screen, ask questions, and have a plan of care.
It's Tuesday! And this one goes out to my mujeres who think or feel that you may be that highly sensitive person. We know already there is a highly negative stigma associated with being too sensitive y por lo menos la familia te llama dramatica y chillona! Si, you read that right and most people take that to the heart and force yourself to numb your true emotions, but the consequence of numbing is that you leave a negative lasting impression that will affect every part of your work and personality.
Y pues eso no es bueno... amiga. Let me tell you something, if you are a highly sensitive person, I want you to know that your ability to feel things make you a nurturer and a healer in other words a person with compassion and understanding. People we need today because of all the b.s. in today's world, but also not to be taking advantage of because Karma is REAL.
Y con eso dicho, a HSP seeks meaning to life because you are on the a journey to finding a meaning to life, your purpose and your magic. Yes, you enjoy things like everyone else, but you are a seeker, you dive deep into feelings which can be good, but bad if you your are imbalance with your emotions. And the reason it can be bad is because imbalance emotions can make you prone to depression and susceptible to trigger self-esteem and anxiety issues.
This is why it's important to seek solitude and have breaks intervals monthly, quarterly, and yearly. Breaking away to recharge is necessary for you mind, body, and soul. So retrieving yourself for some downtime is necessary for your energy that contributes to your health and well-being. The stigma we need to break with being emotional is that yes it can be messy, but necessary at the same time, so your body and mind don't become stagnant and prone to severe heath condition that distance your soul from living an meaningful life.
Imagine having a society without HSP (Imagine, Imagine, Imagine). We would lack empathy and a lack of empathy is a root cause for issues we face today. So, be glad if you are a Highly Sensitive Person because you provide balance in an unbalanced environment. And as a reminder to my HSP people feel the emotion and let it go if it doesn't serve a purpose.
We officially made into August and I am slowly coming back. I know what you are thinking.....how many times have I hear this before? But truly you will relate because you are also walking in my shoes because we are all going through some easy and/or really ugly nasty transitions in life!
So... what is the deal Lily...why am I reading this?! Here is the thing ladies, we are all working on re-birthing ourselves, our strength, our wisdom, our self-love and much more. But before we can enjoy the remodeling of "Me" and "You" we must first acknowledge the pain and messiness that left an imprint in our mind and stagnation in our bodies. Yeah you know the pain that is tied to your emotion that seems to haunt you because you keep permitting those memories, situations, and/or trauma to recycle back into your life!!
I know we've all prayed for a do-over, a second chance, a clean slate only to find ourselves confronted with terror that you thought you had erased (possibly maybe even healed from), but all you did was repressed and tuck those feelings real deep within yourself. Nevertheless, that fear is sometimes present in our life because we are going through transitions that may open up those repressed feelings. Whether we are intentionally seeking it or not... we are tapping into those energies within ourselves because we still got work to do.
So, now is the time to reclaim your re-birth and tap and discover the inner wisdom that is tied to God and Divine. Rather than brush your repressed emotions, ask yourself, what would you like to learn from them. Activate your self-reflection and establish some mindful practices that feeds your soul such as: nature, daily prayers, reading, and social activities to re-claim your healing journey and create new experiences.
And don't forget to honor your body by eating healthy, exercising, resting, and practicing self-love. Stand with your emotions and make space for clarity and breathe in your presence. It's time to let go of the wounds that have caused physical illness. Your alive. Create and make space in your consciousness for a new chapter to begin.
I look forward to hosting a self-love workshop towards end of August.
It's not surprising that many mother's like myself are concern with the shortage on baby formula that been prolonging more than it should be. And it's been tough ladies...... to find a certain baby formula brand and it's no where to be found..... this has been the situation for many mother's like myself. I've been helping out mom's behind the scenes and searching for resources and where to find their brand when I am able to. But I can say the same for my needs, I am sadden that the baby formula my baby needs is nowhere to be found, but I am lucky I have a few cans (2) left to provide him until I need to search for an alternative brand.
If you are a mother concern about switching brands talk to your pediatrician and let them know about your concerns, baby's age, how they are doing with there formula feedings, weight, growth, etc. This is exactly what I did, since my baby is 6 months and is able to tolerate formula well and cereal, so with the consult of a pediatrician it may be okay to switch, so I will be on the hunt for a new brand....but the major concern is if it will be in stores or online.
In a meanwhile, I wanted to share some resources for my mom community:
There’s nothing as important to families as the health and safety of their babies, and the formula shortage has left many people wondering how they’ll feed them.
Additional Community Resources
Locate your nearest Community Action Agency (CAA): Your local CAA may be able to give you formula or connect you with local agencies that have formula.
Call 211: United Way’s 2-1-1 can connect you to a community resource specialist who may be able to help you find local food pantries and other sources of formula.
Find an accredited milk bank. The Human Milk Banking Association of North America (HMBANA) gives donated breast milk to families in need. You may need a prescription from your pediatrician or other health care provider to get donated breast milk from HMBANA.
