Anger with Healthy Boundaries

What we know about Anger as women is how it makes us feel and react. Can we suppress it deeply or vocalize it? I believe majority of women are good at both and still learning to set healthy boundaries with Anger. For many Anger can govern their self-expression.

We also know throughout a young women's life, majority of us have learned at an early age that showing anger is not lady like and would be perceived as a difficult woman. And although we all knew this could have some truth, this is also old news in today's agenda! The question now becomes; how does a woman express anger with healthy boundaries?

I am sure there are plenty of magazine articles that explain that women can get angry as often as man do. And if you are wondering, why? well, the answer is pretty simple such as unfair treatment at work, frustration at home, failed relationships, unmet personal goals, and living life with repeated triggers.

Frustration and unfair treatment are the top two reasons I believe many women experience an unsatisfied life because their throat chakra is blocked from self-expression. And when we suppress anger it leads to health problems such as heart disease, depression, high blood pressure, stress, stagnant body pain, substance use and premature death.

Knowing that suppressing anger is not healthy for our longevity, it's important to address causing anger problems quickly. Below are a couple of Healthy Boundaries Tips on how to practice release anger:

1. Create healthy boundaries Identify your needs and expectations. Then learn how to enforce the boundary you want to create. Remember: You deserve RESPECT
2. Cut your loses: Especially if there is not effective change, it's better to cut your loss and remove yourself from an anger -provoking situation
3. Keep an Anger Diary: Become you own expert with your anger episodes, what triggered it? Who was present? How long it lasted? What was the intention?
4. Exercise: It's a powerful outlet to remove negative and stagnant energy away from the mind and body. Moving the body helps with a good mental reset.
