Below are the ingredients you will need to prepare the salad:

1 medium avocado, peeled and sliced
1 tablespoon of olive oil
Fresh lemon juice
Sliced almonds

You can have the salad for lunch or eat as a side dish with your dinner.

Wake Up! You are not Alone!

Waking up your soul after a fragile divorce is needed for every women to recognize that her spirit needs to be uplifted, loved and strengthen, so SHE is able rediscover her purpose, what she wants and desires.  According to article written by Sbarra, "divorce is a highly stressful event, and much remains to be learned about the factors that promote psychological resilience when marriage comes to an end."

For most women the end of a marriage is almost like an entire chapter of their life has ended, but it should not be the end of YOU! Instead it should be about what you could regain while at the same time uplifting your spirit and releasing as much as you can to heal. The more compassionate you are with yourself the more you will be able to manage and rediscover what you want emotionally, spiritually and physically. You should view the liberation of a divorce with the sensible maturity that you were able to gain relationship knowledge. Yes, it is  painful to reflect, to feel, to experience, but you are still here.. so like Cindy Canek said, " Wake the Fuck Up!"

Tune into this week's episode as Cindy shares her own personal story of regaining spiritual wisdom..

Quit Smoking

Hola Familia! Do you have a friend and/or a family member that has been trying to quit smoking, but doesn't know where to find resources. Well today, I will be sharing why it's important to quit smoking during the COVID-19 outbreak as well as connecting you to some great resources.

According to a most recent article published by Tanya Lewis, she states, "cigarette smoke and vaping aerosol are linked to lung inflammation and lowered immune function.  And it could make you more vulnerable to a severe infection with the novel coronavirus, some experts say." (read full article here)

As per diem a smoking cessation facilitator, I would like to say, cigarette smoking and vaping can actually suppress the immune system and function of the lungs. Which is why cigarette smokers experience pulmonary chronic conditions such as Bronchitis, Emphysema, COPD, Pneumonia and/or lungs collapsing, cardiovascular disease, cancer, mental health and much more. These conditions are developed over time as one continues to smoke, but some early symptoms smokers can experience is fatigue, shortness of breath, coughing, wheezing and tightness in the chest. With such high risk already due to the nicotine and toxic chemicals, smokers can possibly be at higher risk to be immune compromised. Which is why it's important to quit smoking!

Below I have provided some resources that can help an individual with quitting.

There was also the beautiful Pink Full Moon on Tuesday and I wanted to talk about why it's important to focus on prayer and meditatin during this new phase.

As most of you know the full moon resembles a gift of rebirth that occurs in all forms of life, but we have to ask ourselves what type of rebirth are we giving ourselves in the new world we have been experiencing lately. Listen to this week episode, it short, but empowering to know the diversity of spiritual practice.
